Overview
In the maker's words.
Backup Notion makes a copy of your Notion workspace on a schedule and sends it to cloud storage you own. You connect Notion, connect a storage account, pick a folder and choose daily, weekly or monthly backups. After that it runs on its own, and you can start a backup by hand at any time.
Each backup is a dated zip archive with your pages and nested subpages as clean Markdown files, your databases, and the original images, media and attachments. Every archive also includes an HTML viewer that you open in a browser to browse and search the whole workspace offline, without Notion.
Backups go to Google Drive, Amazon S3, Backblaze B2, Cloudflare R2 or Nextcloud. Backup Notion processes your data in transit and keeps no backup data at rest on its own servers. The access you grant to Notion is read-only.
There are two self-serve plans. Personal is $9 a month and Teams is $20 a month. Both start with a 14-day trial; a card is required.
