1) Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using BuildVoyage (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2) Who We Are

BuildVoyage is a curated micro‑SaaS directory that highlights products, their technology stacks, and development milestones. We prioritize calm, human‑centered discovery and learning.

3) Eligibility & Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service (consistent with our Privacy Policy).
• You are responsible for the activity that occurs on your account and for safeguarding your credentials.
• Provide accurate information; do not impersonate others.
• You may only create one account and may not share your account with others.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4) Submissions & User Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (including product details, logos, stack items, milestones, and comments), but you grant BuildVoyage a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free, transferable, sublicensable license to use, host, display, reproduce, distribute, modify, and create derivative works as necessary to operate, promote, and improve the Service.

• Only submit content you have the rights to share and that does not infringe third‑party rights.
• Do not submit illegal, infringing, deceptive, pornographic, hateful, harassing, defamatory, or harmful content.
• Log milestones that are truthful and reflective of real progress — false claims may result in removal.
• We may edit formatting (typos, style tweaks) for clarity and consistency without changing meaning.
• You represent and warrant that your submissions comply with these Terms and applicable laws.
• You agree that we may use your submissions in marketing materials and case studies.

5) Curation & Moderation

BuildVoyage is curated. We may approve, decline, edit, or remove submissions at our discretion to preserve quality and usefulness. Grounds include: low effort, misleading claims, spam, duplicates, or failure to meet community guidelines.

• Cheer system is lightweight and not a ranking guarantee.
• Featured placements (when applicable) are clearly labeled.
• We may adjust ordering (e.g., spotlight scores) to highlight timely, quality content.

6) Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service responsibly and lawfully. Prohibited activities include:

• No scraping, rate‑limit abuse, or bulk data harvesting without written permission.
• No attempts to game cheers, rankings, or curation (e.g., bots, fake accounts, vote manipulation).
• No security probing, reverse engineering, or disrupting the Service or its infrastructure.
• Respect others: no harassment, doxxing, stalking, or intellectual‑property violations.
• No spam, unsolicited commercial messages, or off‑topic promotional content.
• No attempt to access other users' accounts or private information.
• No uploading of viruses, malware, or other malicious code.
• No circumventing any security or access control measures.

7) Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, and brand names of products are the property of their respective owners. BuildVoyage name, logo, and site design are our property and may not be used without permission.

8) Copyright & DMCA

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content infringes your copyright, please provide us with:

• Your contact information and authorization to act on behalf of the copyright owner
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
• Identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location on our Service
• A statement of good‑faith belief that the use is not authorized
• A statement of accuracy and authority under penalty of perjury

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content and notify the submitter, who may file a counter‑notice if they believe the content was removed in error.

Certain provisions (including licenses, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) survive termination.
