Overview
In the maker's words.
PDFAnnotations is a privacy-first PDF annotation toolset for researchers, students, writers, lawyers, and knowledge workers. It extracts highlights, comments, sticky notes, underlines, wavy lines, and strikeouts; cleans supported annotation layers; exports Word comments from DOCX; and converts XFDF and XML FDF annotation data. A Pro Workspace helps you search, filter, sort, group, edit, delete, and organize annotations, with exact or sentence extraction modes, batch multi-file processing, custom exports, ZIP export, and Workspace backup and restore. Parsing and export run locally in your browser, so files are not uploaded for parsing or export. Free core tools include a 3-PDF daily limit; Pro adds higher daily limits and advanced workflows.
